As I make a track I often envision myself discovering it's landscape.
Moving about it's hills and valleys, journeying.
Or I play in my mind a movie that pans across it's expanse, cutting here and there to details: a brook, a tree stump covered in moss. Perhaps there are time lapses of clouds or tides, silhouettes at dusk, the wind in trees.
Perhaps it's a cityscape hectic and noisy or run down and abandoned. Perhaps it's a spacescape, or a forest, or ice as far as the eye can see.

These tracks all felt like...desert wanderings.
